Clear Water Adventures

FAQ

The best part about South Texas, regardless of the time of year it is, there always is something to catch!

Redfish and Trout are primary targets year-round, while other species like flounder and sheep head are more seasonal.

A little rain doesn’t hurt anyone; we fish rain or shine. Captain Shayne Moore keeps a close eye on the weather and will alert you if it’s too risky to be out on the water. Cancelations do happen due to weather; Clear Water Adventures will work to reschedule with a time/date that works for you.

For safety reasons, there is a capacity limit of 5 adult passengers on the boat. If your group is larger, we can arrange for a multiple boat charter.

We fish on Baffin Bay and Laguna Madre

We provide the boat, bait, tackle, rods, reels, life vests (for children) and water and ice while onboard.  Expert fish cleaning is also provided by the captain.

We ask that you BYOB drinks and snacks, sunscreen and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Don’t forget your required fishing license

Yes. In Texas you must have a license if you are 17 or older.  You can purchase on online here or go to Walmart or HEB in Flour Bluff to obtain a license. Please make sure you check your expiration date before arriving for your charter!
